To address concerns some have about our efforts to reclaim our U.S. Flag please consider: Over the last decade, Republicans have seemed to claim the American flag as their symbol. Manitowoc Democratic Party, along with the national Democratic Party, is saying “NOT SO.” We are urging democrats in Manitowoc County to fly their flags proudly, especially on these days in honor of “the Republic for which it stands.” 
Here’s what’s coming up.-October 15 Ben Winkler will be at the Capitol Civic Center in the Mertens Room from 5 to 8 p.m. He will speak on his book and sign copies if you bring one. This will also be the October General Meeting for the Democratic Party.
